Gaye Stockman
President & CEO
Gaye has worked in the community development and economic development profession since 1989. In May 2008, Gaye accepted the President & CEO position for the Laramie Economic Development Corporation in Laramie, WY. Before that, she held the President & CEO position for the Loveland Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center for five years. Just prior to the Chamber position she held the Vice President position for the Northern Colorado Economic Development Corporation based in Larimer County and was responsible for primary business retention and expansion for the NCEDC. Before her employment in Northern Colorado, she was the Business Retention and Expansion Program Manager for the State of Wyoming for the Wyoming Business Council, based in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Vice President of the Mesa County Economic Development Council (now the Grand Junction Economic Partnership) in Grand Junction, Colorado.
During her 19 years in community/economic development, she assisted in the relocation/expansion of several key employers in Western Colorado. She has worked with numerous existing businesses with their retention and expansion projects; and has negotiated strategic alliance contracts for statewide organizations in Wyoming. Gaye earned the CEcD designation (Certified Economic Developer) in August of 2000 from the International Economic Development Council. She has also earned the EDFP (Economic Development Finance Professional) certification in 2002 from the National Development Council.As a volunteer, Gaye served as the President of the Mesa County Executive Fair Board in Grand Junction, CO and has numerous times served a member of the board of directors for many volunteer boards, including the Mesa County Enterprise Zone Commission.Gaye makes her home in Laramie, WY. She was born in Thermopolis, WY and her extended family is located throughout the state. She raised four sons: Jim, a graduate from CU at Boulder and is the Director of Information Technologies for the American Motorcycle Racing Association in their MotorCross and SuperCross races division.; Jake, employed in the oil & gas industry; Nick, a graduate from UNC in Greeley employed in Michigan as a high school math teacher and football/wrestling coach; and Gary, served a tour of duty in the US Marines and is employed in the aviation industry. She is also a proud grandmother of Ellie and Aidan. Gaye calls Laramie her home and is enjoying the amazing quality of life in Albany County.

John Dick
Vice President
John is a recent graduate of University of Hawaii's Shidler College of Business where he obtained a Master of Business Administration. Prior to joining LEDC, John interned with LG Chem in Beijing, China, where he completed market research and developed sustainable business strategies for the petrochemical industry. John has experience working in the real estate sector and assisting businesses through their development process. He also attended Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois where he studied Art History.

Melissa Greer
Office Manager
Melissa comes to LEDC with a strong background in business. Having most recently worked with StarTek, she helped launch a StarTek site in Manila, Philippines. Melissa has a strong customer service background in addition to a wide variety of organizational strengths, so she will be a perfect fit at LEDC. With many companies looking to maximize their bottom line, Laramie is receiving a great deal of attention from all over the country. LEDC’s staff and Board has been extremely busy. Having Melissa on our team, especially with her background, makes her a great asset and will enable LEDC to continue to meet the needs of our clients and Partners without missing a beat.
