Bailie Scott
LEDC Office Manager
We are pleased to announce the employment of Bailie Scott as Laramie Economic Development Corporation's new Office Manager. Among many other qualities, Bailie brings administrative and customer service experience obtained while living in Fernley, Nevada, where she worked as Medical Billing Associate and Branch Manager's Assistant.
Bailie, her husband Nick, and son, Lane, moved to Laramie in January 2010 following Nick's discharge from the US Army Infantry. Bailie acknowledged, "We really like Laramie, because it's so much more than most small communities, but it still has that small town feel. It's a great place to raise kids." For fun, Bailie and family enjoy four-wheeling, hiking and rodeos.
From a career development standpoint, once she finds some extra time between work and motherhood, Bailie is interested in taking some on-line Accounting courses. She explains, "I've always had a passion for working with budgets. I like the fact that with budgets you set goals, and then it's up to you to make them."
