Wyoming Business Council (WBC)
WBC's key programs focus on developing assets to capture new business development, to build market share and applied research programs, and to integrate technologies into the economic foundation of the state. Beyond its assistance to communities, existing businesses, and recruitment prospects, the WBC has divisions dedicated to agribusiness, tourism, minerals and energy, technology, manufacturing, and the arts and entertainment industries. University of Wyoming Research Products Center (UWRPC)
UWRPC is a collaboration between the University of Wyoming and the Wyoming Business Council that assists entrepreneurs and inventors in matters relating to the protection, marketing, commercialization of their intellectual property. Through this they support the creation of new technology-related start-up ventures within Wyoming and encourage partnerships between University faculty and Wyoming businesses. Wyoming Entrepreneur
Wyoming Entrepreneur is a network of economic development entities from the University of Wyoming. The organization is composed of three centers: The Small Business Development Center provides management consulting services and sponsors educational programs, GRO-Biz assists businesses in selling their product or service to the government, and the Market Research Center provides valuable data and statistics on a variety of areas. Wyoming SBIR/STTR Initiative (WSSI)
WSSI was formed in 1996 to encourage individuals and small businesses from Wyoming to participate in the federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. The SBIR and STTR programs provide more than $2 billion annually in R&D grants and contracts to qualified small businesses (U.S. owned, independently operated, for-profit entities of fewer than 500 employees). Wyoming Department of Workforce Services
The Department of Workforce Services focuses on creating a workforce to that is able to meet the current demands of Wyoming's diverse business environment. The SBA provides many services for individuals looking to start, run, and grow their businesses.
