Climate

Located on a high plain between two mountain ranges, Laramie experiences mild summers and relatively long winters.  The dry climate makes for very enjoyable summers where the long days are warm and the evenings are cool.  Laramie's total precipitation averages only about 10 inches each year.  The average July high temperature is approximately 80 degrees and the average low in January is about 10 degrees.  Although Laramie does experiences over 40 inches of snow a year, it also records about 250 days of sunshine.
