LEDC Partners in Progress 25th Anniversary Campaign

In 2001, Laramie’s community leaders initiated a series of visioning workshops, public forums and meetings where residents contributed their ideas to the development of the Laramie Plan.  People from throughout the city brought together their opinions, expertise, hopes, and dreams.

With the creation of the Partners In Progress in 2004, an unprecedented cooperative partnership was forged between the public and private sectors to involve business and community leaders from throughout Laramie and Albany County.

Today, we continue the Partners In Progress effort and launch our 25th Anniversary Campaign.  We depend on local businesses and community organizations to support these efforts through financial investments and hope you’ll join us in Creating a Better Community by enhancing the vibrancy and economic diversity in our community.

Why Invest in LEDC through Partners in Progress?

  1. Primary Job Creation - LEDC is committed to creating primary jobs that support a great quality of life.  Primary jobs create a product or service that is sold out of the area resulting in the creation of wealth.

  2. Business Recruitment - LEDC actively work to market all of our local assets to national and international markets to provide quality jobs to our residents

  3. Business Retention - Businesses, both new and existing, often have a need to find training, funding and other resources to encourage prosperity and growth.  LEDC  provides these and many other business resources.

  4. Business Mentoring - As trends and business tools change in the field of economic development, LEDC helps Laramie stay informed and up to date.  LEDC works with organizations throughout the City of Laramie and Albany County to share information that supports overall economic development and economic wealth in the region.

  5. Our Network - Our board represents a strong mix of business leaders and innovators in the Laramie area business world.  LEDC collaborates to identify issues that need support and quickly rally to bring the right people and resources  to the table.
