2011 Business Award Nominations

The deadline to submit nominations is Monday, April 18, 2011.

Selection Process: After the nomination period is closed, all nominees will be verified and reviewed by LEDC staff to meet the nomination category qualifications. A slate of qualified candidates for each category will be developed and submitted via ballot to LEDC's Partners in Progress (in good standing) for selection of the winners. The deadline for the final selection will be April 29th. The winners will be announced at the LEDC Annual Membership Dinner, May 12, 2011 at the Hilton Garden Inn.

2011 Business of the Year

Open to all businesses that have conducted business for at least two (2) years; contributed time and resources to our community; experienced favorable business health in terms of number of employees, increased sales, and general financial condition; and demonstrated entrepreneurial skills through innovation. 2011 Business Person of the Year

Open to all individuals who have been in business more than five (5) years; consistently demonstrates a high level of community involvement through participation in civic, community, and LEDC oriented projects and activities; significantly contributes to the economic health of our community through investment, benevolent support, and participation in economic development programs; demonstrates strong managerial skills in dealing with changing economic conditions; and maintains an active leadership role for employees, peers, and citizens of Laramie.
