Privacy and Confidentiality Policy
Laramie Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) is committed to maintaining the privacy of all individuals who use www.laramiewy.org ("SITE"). For each visitor to this SITE, our server recognizes only the consumer's domain name. We review the domain name for internal purposes and then discard it.
In addition, LEDC places a high value on privacy, both in person and online. LEDC's commitment to protecting the personal information of our partners and clients is demonstrated by every member of the LEDC Board of Directors, LEDC Committees and staff. All have signed a Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality Statement to that effect.
No personal information (which means personally-identifiable information including, without limitation, your name, business name, street address, telephone number, and e-mail address) about the user is collected from users of this SITE unless specifically and clearly requested, and only when the user provides it voluntarily. This SITE does not use or collect digital cookies to track visitors.
Unless you request a response, LEDC will not ordinarily retain your e-mail, postal or telephone information (if provided). Once we have responded to your request, we will discard your contact information unless we advise you otherwise and give you the opportunity to refuse.
If you request information or if you have a complaint, and we are unable to respond, your request may be forwarded to an LEDC partner that we believe can adequately respond. Your request would be forwarded along with any e-mail, postal, or telephone information you have provided. We will not forward your request if you ask that we not do so.
If you are an LEDC Partner in Progress, we compile lists for communications and marketing purposes. We will provide that information to LEDC partners who we believe provide goods and/or services that might be useful. You may ask us to remove you from this list by contacting us at 307.742-2212.
Personal information that has been provided by users is secure information and is requested to enhance the user's access to information at LEDC. We only use personal information provided for the express purpose for which it was collected unless the user specifically agrees to the use of the personal information for additional purposes. In order to prevent unauthorized access and ensure proper use of your personal information, we have developed electronic and managerial procedures to secure information provided on-line. In addition, personal information will not be shared with any third party.
