Planning and Permitting

The City of Laramie Planning Division administers land use regulations in the City including zoning, subdivisions, variances, conditional uses, planned unit developments (PUD), annexations and long-range planning. Laramie adopted a Comprehensive Plan in the summer of 2007. The Laramie Comprehensive Plan replaces the 1995 Land Use Element and covers all areas within the City limits, and includes a vision for the City's One Mile extraterritorial subdivision jurisdiction.
