Planes

Denver International Airport (DIA) can be reached in only about two hours driving time from Laramie.  In addition, Great Lakes Airlines provides three flights to DIA each day through the Laramie Regional Airport (LAR) and currently has code share agreements with United and Frontier Airlines.  LAR's primary runway is 8,500 feet long and 150 feet wide and the airport's secondary runway is 6,300 feet long and 100 feet wide.  A 120-acre business park is currently under development adjacent to the airport.  For more information on the Laramie Regional Airport please click here


Trains

Union Pacific Railroad mainline operates over 55 freight trains on a daily basis through Laramie.  Over the past several years Union Pacific has invested more than $150 million in track work and facility improvements throughout Wyoming to provide safe and reliable services.

Automobiles

Laramie, Wyoming sits on Interstate 80, one of the nation's main east-west transportation corridors.  The route is uncongested and intersects Interstate 25 just 45 miles to the east, easily connecting Laramie to Denver and the Colorado Front Range.  The following report, published by the Wyoming Department of Transportation, shows the monthly traffic count from the six traffic stations surrounding Laramie.
